Accreditation and what we are
We are not VA-accredited. We are software. Pay Vets Now is a product of MF Automations LLC (a Florida LLC), operating as a document-preparation and educational-guidance platform. Veterans use our software to prepare their own VA disability claims. The veteran is always the filer of record. We are never your representative before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Why this matters for you
The legal distinction between a representative and a software tool is what separates Pay Vets Now from claim-shark consulting firms that have been banned in New Jersey, New York, Maine, California, and Alabama. Those firms charge veterans flat fees of $10,000 to $20,000 for services federal law prohibits them from providing. We never do that. We charge a flat subscription for software, we never touch a contingent fee on your benefits, and you sign and submit every VA form yourself.
What we do (the software)
- Generate pre-filled VA forms (21-0966 Intent to File, 21-526EZ, 21-4138 Statement in Support, SF-180, VA 10-5345, VA 3288, HIPAA authorizations) from your intake data
- Provide AI-powered information grounded in 38 CFR and the M21-1 Adjudication Manual
- Walk you through the VA.gov submission process
- Surface state-specific benefits in addition to federal disability compensation
- Show you how to find free accredited help from any Veterans Service Organization
What we do not do (representation)
- We do not sign as preparer or representative on your VA forms
- We do not file claims with the VA on your behalf
- We do not give personalized legal advice about your specific case
- We do not appear before the Board of Veterans Appeals or the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims on your behalf
- We do not charge fees contingent on VA approving your claim
If you need representation
Representation is valuable. Attorney-represented claims have a BVA grant rate of 40.9% vs 25.4% for self-filed (BVA FY2023 Annual Report). If your claim is denied or you want representation from the start, here is how to get it:
- Free, accredited: Any Veterans Service Organization — DAV, VFW, American Legion, PVA, AMVETS, VVA — provides fully accredited representation at no cost. County VSOs are often fastest. See our Find a VSO page.
- Paid, accredited: VA-accredited attorneys and claims agents can represent you on appeals (post-VA-decision) and charge a 20% contingency on past-due benefits under 38 CFR 14.636, VA direct-paid. The VA OGC accreditation database is at va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation.
